Volunteer Values
Because the Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan is "the house that love built," volunteers at our House believe that:
-
All families should experience an environment of compassion and caring
-
All families should have a sense of unconditional acceptance
-
All families have the right to a safe, secure, and comfortable home environment
-
All persons working for or with the WMRMH should be dedicated to the mission
-
Both the services and the financial responsibilities of the WMRMH should be managed with integrity and resourcefulness
Help Provide Comfort, Compassion and Care to Families and Children
The Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan is a safe, secure, smoke-free facility that provides a "Home Away From Home" for families of children and youth seeking medical treatment in our community. WMRMH services are made possible by over a hundred dedicated volunteers who provide over 14,000 hours of their time annually and through community supporters. We welcome volunteers from all across West Michigan to join our House family!
